Arc Hotel and Parking Garage

The Courtyard by Marriott and Erskine-Greene Training Center for Developmental Disabilities is one of Muncie’s proudest initiatives.  In partnership with the ARC of Indiana, downtown Muncie will have a hotel for its visitors, as well as a school to teach individuals with disabilities workforce training within the hospitality industry.  The project was complete in December of 2015 and remains the only facility of its kind in the nation.  To learn more about the Erskine-Greene training center please visit their website http://www.erskinegreeninstitute.org/ or to stay at Muncie’s newest downtown hotel visit www.marriott.com.

Built in 1928 at a cost of over $400,000, the Muncie Fieldhouse was built to house Muncie Central Bearcat basketball games. The Fieldhouse contains 7,635 seats, making it one of the largest high school gymnasiums in the country--a reflection on the importance of the game of basketball to Indiana.
